The PTA funds Parent Education events on interesting topics regarding children and families.

September 24th 6:30 p.m.  - Raising Resilient Children by Dr. Susan Sugarman.  Dr. Sugarman will teach concrete skills that parents can use to raise resilient children.  Open to the public.

The following events are not sponsored by the NHE PTA but are presented by well-known parenting expert, Kathleen Fischer:

Sugar and Spice...Reflecting On Our Teen Daughters

Making Sense of SEX: Guiding Our Teens
At the special request of dads of teens, a 4-evening series at Highland Park United Methodist Church, Room 329W, $60. While any parent may attend, this one is especially for fathers.  Times and dates to be announced.
